Stuart Barwise
General Manager, White Barn Inn
Stuart Barwise has been with The White Barn Inn for over two years and brings 30 years’ experience at the high end of hospitality to the inn and its restaurant where he is responsible for all operational functions. Furthermore, he oversees all operational aspects at sister properties The Yachtsman Lodge and Marina and The Beach House Inn, in the nearby vicinity.
Stuart joined the Group after leaving his role of Vice President of Lodging and General Manager of the ski and golf resort, Sugarloaf. His previous leadership positions at hotels and resorts include the Embassy Suites Hotel Portland; Jefferson Hotel Richmond, Virginia and The Grand Wailea Resort in Maui, Hawaii. Also active and involved in his community he has served on various committees including the Parks and Recreation Committee of Kennebunkport, the Board of the Greater Portland CVB as well as on the Maine Tourism Commission. He currently serves as a Selectman for the Town of Kennebunkport.
